My name is Karen Bearchell and I am a licensed biblical and pastoral counselor. I am also the founder of Precious Grace Counseling.
I have been married to the love of my life since 1980. We have four grown children, three are married, and we are blessed with 9 grandchildren.
I have always had a passion for God’s word after starting to attend a Bible Study in someone’s home back in 1987. As my love for God’s Word grew, I wanted to share it with others. We moved to Georgia in 1996 and I began teaching small groups as well as discipling and coaching women. After a trip to Israel, I felt God leading me to further my education and become a full time counselor. So, that fall I began my studies. Upon graduation I got a job with Healing Grace Ministries and after working with them for almost seven years, I felt God calling me to launch out on my own.
All I can say is, I love Jesus. When I even begin to try and comprehend the immense gift God gave through him, I am beyond words. I want others to see and understand this gift and be free of the lies that have held them back for so many years. I am living proof that God can and does change lives and one of the greatest privileges I have been given is sitting on the 50 yard line watching God move in the lives of people. God didn’t send his Son so that we could live the abundant life someday…it’s for now. We are our own worst enemies but God wants us to be free. I have discovered that freedom and want to share it with all those God brings my way.
